TikTok is exploring ways to monetize
The app is letting a select group of users add links in their bios and posts.
TikTok, a platform with a billion users, begins testing links in bios which can direct audiences to products or services. Apparently users can purchase products featured in videos directly from the videos themselves.
This new possibility will drive more creators to flock toward the site.
At least in the US, where the test has been rolling out, TikTok is getting into the game and is not hiding its ambition to compete with Instagram.
